Did your switch go bad or is it just getting old?  Don’t worry, we have you covered.  This switch is for the Maxon BMR-A rail lift.  We have provided a link below which is for the BMR-A parts manual.  Please make note that there is a difference in part number for the gravity down versus the power down models.  We want you to receive the right part the first time so please refer to page 123 of the parts manual for the correct part number.  If there is any problem you may refer to Lift Gates Unlimited online for more information and other lift gate parts.

Overview:  The Tuck Away lift gate neatly folds underneath the truck bed floor allowing for easy storage and efficient dock loading without the hassle of opening, closing, or moving the lift gate.  Many manufacturers pride themselves on the reduced maintenance cost of this style gate.  These factors are the key to the success of the tuck away style lift gate.

Platforms:  The platform of the Tuck Away or Flip Away style gate consist of one, two, or three folding sections depending on the model—simply, a larger platform requires a high capacity lift gate.  Platforms come standard in diamond plated steel, but can be easily manufactured in aluminum as well as specially treaded paint for greater traction when loading and unloading.

Applications:  These gates can be installed on straight trucks, box trucks, service bodies, stake bodies, as well as flatbed trucks and trailers.  When ordering please provide the dimensions of your truck’s bed height, width, and platform specifications so that we can verify the lift gate will fit properly.

Maxon’s RC series lift gate has been designed for trailers carrying heavy loads. Its large platform of up to 84” by 96” wide allows for the loading and unloading of large pallets. These gates will prove most effective for companies constantly delivering heavy cargo or pallet sized loads needing a level platform ride from deck height to ground level. The capacity range of this model is 2,000 to 6,000 lbs.
